Prize money is distributed to the general public by the lucky draw which is held by using mechanical machines.
There are nine different types of Prize Bond denominations with Rs 100 Prize Bond being the lowest and Rs 40000 Premium Prize bond being the highest. Other Prize Bonds are Rs 200, Rs 750, Rs 1500, Rs 7500, Rs 15000, Rs 25000 and Rs 40000. Prize money for different Prize Bonds starts from Rs 1199 and goes up to 80 million rupees. The draw of each Prize Bond denomination is held every three months which means for each Prize Bond four draws are held every year.
